December Brilliant Bundle

Cozy up with this brilliant bundle.

Now that Thanksgiving's turkey has been turned into leftovers and you've celebrated meeting your NaNoWriMo word count, it's time to think about 2020. And what better way to do that than to get that NaNo manuscript edited, a career and business plan created for the New Year, and getting that synopsis written so you can meet your publishing goals. Yes, we know with the holidays around the corner, finding writing time is a challenge, but it's not impossible.

When you have a plan, putting words on the page is easier, especially if you're juggling a career along with your family and other obligations.

Listen, we get it. It's tough to set a goal then strive to achieve it. But you can do it! We believe in you.

Because we've been there. And we know how difficult it can be to balance life with your writing dreams.

Good thing, though, is you're not along. We're here to help.

Our December Brilliant Bundle offers great classes to help you get your stories edited and give you the tips you need to plan for 2020. Let's do this!

Let's begin with Editing Triage: How to Edit Your Fast Draft. Now that NaNoWriMo is over, this class will teach you how to edit that manuscript. We'll arm you with Editing Triage skills to help you figure out if your story works and how to start rearranging plot and structure. We'll teach you how to strengthen your scenes, layer that characterization, and build storyworld. Join us as my friends and I share our editing tips and give you a game plan for the next leg of your writing journey.

Then we'll move onto Career Planning & Biz Plans. How do you plan a lucrative writing career? Career Planning and Biz Plans offers strategies for indie & traditional writing careers and how to write a business plan that reflects who you are as a writer.

And finally, you will learn about 500-Word Synopsis. We'll be talking about how to write a 500-word synopsis, which is perfect if you're planning to enter writing contests next spring. We'll talk through how to grab the big, essential pieces of your story to showcase the plot, and then put them together for the right impact. We'll also talk through a sample synopsis, and leave you with a checklist for you to apply to your own synopsis.

Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. - Goethe

You can write a brilliant story. Let's make it happen.

Susan May Warren
Hi. I'm Susan May Warren. I started writing while I lived in Siberia (yes, you heard that right--cold, snowy, Siberia). Alone. No one to help me, overwhelmed and not a little discouraged. Eighteen years later, I've published over 80 books in five different genres, have landed on numerous bestseller lists (including USA Today), won the RITA, CHRISTY and CAROL awards (and others) and started a school for novelists.

I've learned a few things along the way (beyond techniques on how to stay warm in the tundra!) Most importantly I learned that if I wanted to be published, I had to figure out how to write a book, how to edit it, how to step back from my stories, look at them with a critical eye, figure out what a good manuscript looks like, and then use my unique voice to make that happen.

I'd like to teach you how to write a good book. Edit it...and then, we'll talk about selling it.
