July Brilliant Bundle

Beat the summer heat with this brilliant writing bundle

Listen, we get it. Launching out into a goal, a dream, a serious endeavor like writing a novel is, well, daunting. You have the fire, the idea, the characters, but how do you bring them to life on the page?

With the summer here, our July Brilliant Bundle offers great classes to help with completing that summer novel. With these lessons, you will learn how to plot the twists and turns in your novel, learn how to make your dialogue SIZZLE, and learn about story rhythm through scenes.

So let's start with Plotting the Twists and Turns. Is your story unique and original? Let's face it, with only 7 major plots in the world, it's hard to create something unique! This month I'll teach you 2 tricks I use to create original and riveting plots!

Then, we'll continue with Dialogue Basics. In this course, you will learn the basics of dialogue--its function on the page, the rhythm of the words, and how to make it SIZZLE.

And now that you've figured out your character, let's talk about Story Rhythm Through Scenes. A great book starts with a powerful first scene…and builds scene by scene from there. A great story has a rhythm to it, not unlike music, drawing your reader through the story that helps create the pacing of your novel. It also helps establish that essential tool to keeping your reader engaged--character motivation. This rhythm is created through the powerful combination of Action and ReAction scenes. In this lesson, learn the rhythm of storytelling with an overview of these two scenes.

Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. - Goethe

You can write a brilliant story. Let's make it happen.

XO!

Susan May Warren
Hi. I'm Susan May Warren. I started writing while I lived in Siberia (yes, you heard that right--cold, snowy, Siberia). Alone. No one to help me, overwhelmed and not a little discouraged. Fifteen years later, I've published over 65 books in five different genres, have landed on numerous bestseller lists (including USA Today), won the RITA, CHRISTY and CAROL awards (and others) and started a school for novelists.

I've learned a few things along the way (beyond techniques on how to stay warm in the tundra!) Most importantly I learned that if I wanted to be published, I had to figure out how to write a book, how to edit it, how to step back from my stories, look at them with a critical eye, figure out what a good manuscript looks like, and then use my unique voice to make that happen.

I'd like to teach you how to write a good book. Edit it...and then, we'll talk about selling it. Let's NaNoWriMo!
