Your Keys to Publishing Success

learn how to launch your book and land on the best-seller list with these essential classes!

So, you wrote a book. Awesome! Now what?

Whether you're indie publishing your book, or going the trad route, you have to LAUNCH your story, right? But putting together a great launch--and more, landing on the best-seller list means knowing a few key things that will make a reader pick up your book, read a sample, and buy it! (and tell their friends!)

As the author of over 70 novels that have landed on multiple best-seller lists, I've learned how to write a compelling first chapter, launch my books and gleaned the keys to landing on best-seller list. And, I'd like to give you the keys, too.

Let's begin with First Chapter Basics. In this lesson, we’re going to start with understanding the elements you need to communicate in the first chapter, something I call the Big 10. Or, the 10 Essentials of a can’t-put-down First Chapter. An easy to understand, advanced scene building lesson!

Then, we'll move onto How to Land on the Bestseller List. I've been doing Indie! If you've been following my novel writing you'll probably know that I've really begun to buckle down and carve out an indie audience. We've had several peptalks on this theme before, but we haven't covered this aspect. So... if you want to know what makes a non-traditionally published book hit the bestseller list, well then join me and USA Today best-selling author Jan Thompson as we talk secrets to writing an indie bestseller!

And finally, we'll talk about How to Plan Your Book Launch. Watch as we plan the Trad-book launch for Rachel Hauck's, How to Catch a Prince. See the questions we ask - and how we build it from the ground up.

Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. - Goethe

You can write--and sell--a brilliant story. Let's make it happen.

XO!

Susan May Warren
Hi. I'm Susan May Warren. I started writing while I lived in Siberia (yes, you heard that right--cold, snowy, Siberia). Alone. No one to help me, overwhelmed and not a little discouraged. Eighteen years later, I've published over 80 books in five different genres, have landed on numerous bestseller lists (including USA Today), won the RITA, CHRISTY and CAROL awards (and others) and started a school for novelists.

I've learned a few things along the way (beyond techniques on how to stay warm in the tundra!) Most importantly I learned that if I wanted to be published, I had to figure out how to write a book, how to edit it, how to step back from my stories, look at them with a critical eye, figure out what a good manuscript looks like, and then use my unique voice to make that happen.

I'd like to teach you how to write a good book. Edit it...and then, we'll talk about selling it.
